The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was super friendly. Our entire family enjoyed their meals. I loved my red beans and rice with andule sausage (photo). It was one of the best meals while on our visit to their beautiful city of New Orleans.
We went to the one on Veterans Memorial blvd in Metairie on a whim when down for a wedding and had zero clue how good this food was. We came back again and tried the one on St Charles Avenue to see if it was a fluke or the real deal...yep... the real deal. For now on when we visit the Big Easy, we're coming here for lunch/dinner! Our waitress was the bar tender and she gave us good service and even good natured joking with me not being able to finish my Rum Punch because I was driving.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon to try their burgers, and since they serve hefty 1/2-pound burgers, we decided to share one—and we absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed a frosty schooner of beer. The atmosphere was lively, the restaurant was spotless, and the overall vibe was fantastic. When we first walked in, we weren’t sure whether to order at the counter or just sit down. We ended up ordering at the counter and later found out we could have taken a seat and ordered from there instead. No big deal—they brought the food to our table. The employees were all super friendly, from the bartender to the server who delivered our meal. Noticing we were sharing the burger, the server thoughtfully brought us an extra plate and some extra aioli for our fries. Delicious! We’ll definitely be back!
Simply the best food, best serving size, and service. The bartender was very kind and helpful. Special shout out to the gentleman from Detroit! To the cooks, wish we had found you before our last day. If we come back we will return.
Loved this place! This was dinner on the first night of my honeymoon, and it did not disappoint! Great energy in the atmosphere, friendly helpful service, and outstanding food! My wife and I had the Crawfish Queso, and the Seafood Platter, and every single item was top notch, from the Crab Cakes to the Catfish. Dino took great care of us! Highly recommended!
We stayed at a Bed & Breakfast nearby & decided to try this place since we are both Hamburger Fans!! It was absolutely delicious!! I got a burger & onion rings & loved it. I also got a frozen alcoholic drink (I forgot the name) and man was it dangerously delicious
We came here on our way out of New Orleans to go home and I'm so glad I did. The frozen daquiri I had was the amaretto pineapple and it was delicious! It was only 6. The food was great, reasonably priced, and the portions were huge. A must visit guys!
I gotta say that I ordered the food via delivery. But good lord was it good! I’ve been telling everyone about the best catfish I have ever had! The spicy catfish is amazing! I love how they get it so thin and the crust so crunchy. Red beans and rice was great along with the fried shrimp. The only thing I will add is to please read the order fully as to not miss items that your customer paid for. Also, never forget to include condiments for to-go orders.
